De har varit några lugnare dagar i byn, med mindre beskjutning. Ryska armén fortsätter sin terrorbombning mot civila mål. För några dagar förstörde de operationssalen och intensivvårdsavdelningen på Gammalsvenskbys sjukhus i Beryslav. 60 rutor ska ha blåsts u, men som tur var dödades inga människor. Tidigare har Gammalsvenskbyns poliklinik och vårdcentral skadats svårt.
Vattenståndet i floden Dnipro är mycket högt, ett par meter över normal nivå. Det står vatten i ravinen ”Gravgårdvarde” i byn. Detta beror på att kraftdammen vid Nova Kakhovka inte regleras. Det kommer in mer vatten i reservoaren, än som rinner ut vid dammen. Ockupanterna förstörde funktionen av regleringen av dammen.
Vädret I Gammalsvenskby är varmt, med 20-25 grader. Men de 300 bybor som är kvar i byn bor i sina jordkällare för att skydd från terrorbombningar. Där är det kallt och rått. De håller värmen och lagar mat med hjälp av de kaminer vi kört ner under vintern. Vårt team har senaste veckan levererat 21 ton värmebriketter.

They have had a quieter few days in the village, with less shelling. The Russian army continues its terrorist bombing of civilian targets. A few days ago, they destroyed the operating room and the intensive care unit at Gammalsvenskby Hospital in Beryslav. 60 windows are said to have been blown out, but luckily no people were killed. In the past, Gammalsvenskbyn’s outpatient clinic and health center have been badly damaged.
The water level in the Dnipro River is very high, a couple of meters above normal level. There is water in the ravine ”Gravgårdvarde” in the village. This is because the power dam at Nova Kakhovka is not regulated. More water enters the reservoir than flows out at the dam. The occupiers destroyed the function of the regulation of the dam.
The weather in Gammalsvenskby is warm, with 20-25 degrees. But the 300 villagers who remain in the village live in their earthen cellars for protection from terrorist bombings. It’s cold and raw there. They keep warm and cook with the help of the stoves we drove down during the winter. Last week, our team delivered 21 tons of heating briquettes.
