Läget är efter omständigheterna ok i Gammalsvenskby.
Men de blir allt mer isolerade, då Putin nu har ockuperat landet söder, öster och väster om dem. Och i norr finns det nu också ryska styrkor.
De har ännu mat, el, värme och vatten. Internet fungerar tidvis, så de kan hålla kontakt och höra nyheter. Gammalsvenskby hjälper grannstaden Beryslav med lokala varor som lök, mjölk och potatis. Brödbilen från Beryslav kommer ibland, beroende på mjöltillgång
Byborna är oroliga, då ryska trupper är hungriga och har börjat plundra på landsbygden. De tar mat, djur och går in i privata hus och stjäl pengar och smycken. Byn har en checkpoint vid infarten till byn och de patrullerar dygnet runt.
De är också oroliga då det inte längre kommer matvaror eller mediciner från storstaden Kryvyi Rih.. De hjälps åt.
Det går en influensa på ålderdomshemmet i Gammalsvenskby och medicinerna börjar tryta.
De familjer som i förra veckan planerade att ta sig till Sverige har ställt in planera och väntar kvar i byn, då det är mycket farligt att ge sig ut på vägarna.
Föreningen når inte heller i dagsläget fram med hjälpsändningar.
Det går inte heller att få fram pengar, då banksystemen ligger helt nere. Och i byn går det lilla som går att handla bara att köpa med kontanter.
Men byborna är starka och hjälper varandra att klara situationen.

The situation is ok under the circumstances in Gammalsvenskby.
They are becoming increasingly isolated, as Putin has now occupied the land south, east and west of them. And in the north there are now also Russian forces.
They still have food, electricity, heat and water. The Internet works occasionally, so they can stay in touch and hear the news. Gammalsvenskby helps the neighboring town of Beryslav with local goods such as onions, milk and potatoes. The bread truck from Beryslav sometimes arrives, depending on the availability of flour.
The villagers are worried, as Russian troops are hungry and have started looting in the countryside. They take food, animals and go into private houses and steal money and jewelry. The village has a checkpoint at the entrance to the village and they patrol day and night.
They are also worried as there will no longer be food or medicine coming from the big city of Kryvyi Rih. They cooperate to handle the situation.
There is a flu in the old people’s home in Gammalsvenskby and they are soon out of important medicines.
The families who last week planned to flee to Sweden are still waiting in the village, as it is very dangerous to get out on the roads.
The association does not currently arrive with relief shipments either. It is also not possible to get money, as the banking systems are completely down. And in the village there is little that can be bought, and ypu do have to pay with cash.
But the villagers are strong and help each other cope with the situation.
